Another SM Town video repost since I am too lazy to write anything new…

Hey guys. Since it’s that time of the year again, I thought I’d post a couple of my old review of the old Christmas videos that SM Town did back in the day. These were some of my favorite videos because they seemed so much fun. I don’t know if SM Town still makes these (are they even still around?), but if they don’t, they really should because they’re the best.

SM Town: Angel Eyes

I few days ago, Dukhat posted in the forums that I should review the new SM Town Christmas video. Now I normally don’t take requests, but I thought that it was a good idea and all, since it is Christmas time.

You guys probably didn’t notice, but I have not written any new articles for the site in about a month, and quite honestly, I feel as if I lost my touch. Maybe it’ll come back soon, but who knows. Maybe I should have asked Santa to bring me some writing talent.

This one is going feel like if it was rushed (it was), but I’m hoping somewhere along the way I can get back to my usual madcap story telling style that has approximately 100 grammatical errors per paragraph.

At any rate, SM Town, Korea’s biggest music label, usually gathers most of their stars together around this time of year to do one of these videos. I’ve already talked about one of their other ones, Angel Eyes in the past. Today I’m going to be looking at their latest one, My Angel My Light.

As usual, I have no fucking idea what is going on. There is some story behind everything, but I don’t know what it is. It’s probably because: a) I don’t understand Korean, b) I get distracted by the incredible knang, c) Kang Ta is so dreamy, or d) all of the above. The two guys in mouse suits don’t help either.

From what I can get, it’s about people making sacrifices and then being rewarded for them. A poor homeless girl gets her hair cut and there’s some banker that makes people pay their debts with watches. I know this paragraph is shit, but it’s the most accurate description of this video that I can give. Oh well… it’s not like any of you guys care anyway.

The video opens up with Eugene laying in bed with some nuts in her hand. I got some nuts she can handle if you catch my drift… HAR HAR HAR! ROFLMAO I say, ROFLMAO!!!

Absent from this video is Bada. I hope it isn’t so, but the word on the street is SES is about to break up. It would be sad if they do, because SES is the reason I got into Korean pop music.

The new SM Towners, Isak N Jiyeon are freaking hot… especially the one on the left. I change what I want for Christmas. Santa, if you are reading this and haven’t already put me on your naughty list, fuck the writing skills. I’d rather have Isak sitting under my tree. I know Kuro wants her too, but I should get her because I make the better kogal.

All of the girls in this video look really cute. It’s probably the lighting and the make up and special voo doo magic, but I say who cares. The eye candy in this video alone is reason enough to watch it. Shoo looks great. BoA and the MILK girls make me feel like a dirty old man. And I’ve already said enough about Isak.

Man this chick is pretty cute too. She’s not all hot and sexified like BoA, but she’s cute. WHAT?! It’s really a dude?! That’s okay, I’ll just close my eyes. The banner that has made me the most money on the site so far has Harisu on it by the way. This is beginning to get scarily gay, so I’ll just go back to talking about something more heterosexual…

Now this is what I’m talking about. It’s Isak again. Ignore the person in the middle (it’s a dude too). I swear, if I ever catch her walking down the street, I’m just going to pounce on her and make sweet sweet love.

Why God Why? I know that I might have been wrong for doubting your existence because of onara, but I am a decent guy. What else have I done so wrong?

Okay maybe there was that one time I gave some birth control pills to some ravers and told them it was a new form of x, and there was the other time I stuck a camera in the girls locker room. Oh yeah, and who could forget the time when I took a dump in a box and mailed it to my ex-girlfriend. But other than that, what else have I done wrong?

Moon Hee Jun is also Santa in the video. This might sound weird, but I think that he’s my favorite member from HOT now. No seriously. He gets freakier and freakier every time I see him. I’m going to get my hair cut like him.

Overall, really good video. I was surprised by how much I liked it. The song is blah (but I say that in most of my reviews), but the video more than made up for it. Like I said, based on eyecandy alone, this video is a recommended watch for fans of KPOP.
