I know that this post is supposed to be about how much I love Taylor, but I first wanted to talk about Fox cancelling the OC. I feel so lost… so helpless… like a little girl or something. I can’t say that I didn’t see this coming, the OC was getting killed in the ratings and Fox did only order 16 episodes this season, but at the same time, it really did surprise me that the OC had gone down so quickly.

It was the hottest shit when it first aired; EVERYONE I knew watched it and loved it. After a phenomenal first season, an okay second, a disasterous third, things looked to be back on track. The stories were getting better (at least to me) and it seemed as if the series could make a turnaround.

We now know that that isn’t the case. I think there are only a few more episodes until the finale (most likely Seth and Summer’s wedding). Through it all though, I really loved the OC. It was cheesy, but completely fun. I am really sad that it got canned… but I mean, Fox does a horrible job of creating shows, sucking you into them and then canning them for some reality show. The OC will just join a long list of shows I really liked that were prematurely ended; Fastlane, Arrested Development, the original Family Guy run, etc.

Enough of this though, let’s move on to what this post is supposed to be about…

I love Taylor Townsend. No, not the actress Autumn who plays her, but the actual fictional character of Taylor Townsend. Hey, if there are a bunch of geeks who masturbate to Lara Croft and pedo-art of Edd, why can’t I confess my feelings for a person who doesn’t exist? Ever since her early appearances on season 3 of the OC, I knew that there was enough *umpf* in her character to warrant a regular role and I was right by the time season 4 rolled around.

Some of you might wonder why I love Taylor so much (I mean above Punky and Kelly? That’s some serious shit!), and well, that’s the topic of today’s post.

She’s crazy.

Taylor Townsend is batshit insane. There’s no doubt about that. Every single thing she does screams “psycho”, but I really dig crazy girls. Serious, if you could take a look at every single girl I’ve dated through the years, you’d know this is true. She has a host of emotional problems that I couldn’t even begin to list but I’d be willing to deal with them all for dat ass.

But yeah, I just like how she acts. Manipulative, talks real fast, and hides her true intentions. Just like me.

Her argyle sweaters.

I like girls who wear argyle sweaters. I’m into that preppy look and Taylor does it like no one else. Oh man, don’t even get me started on when she busts out her cardigans. I’m talking about boner city in my pants when that happens.

She’s an Otaku.

Taylor loves her anime and Japanese horror movies and continuously makes references to them. I love how the writers make her out to be this unstable insecure girl, because most female otakus are the same way.

Taylor also likes to rock out to KPop, and for those of you that have known me for a while, at one point in my life I had one of the biggest KPop related sites on the net. I bet Taylor would have visited it.

She’s got yellow fever.

Maybe it sprung out of her love for anime and Cowboy Bebop and kimchee or whatever, but Taylor loves her some Asian men. And you know, I am an Asian man. At least that’s what I tell myself. Also check out the Kang Ta wannabe that she set Summer up with. What a loser.

She’s a freak in the sack.

No, there isn’t a leaked Taylor sex tape, but from all the references on the OC, it’s pretty easy to see that Taylor is pretty freaky. I mean, she’s let that French husband of her do things to her no matter how degrading. She was hooking up with the “Dean of Discipline.” (I still think that that would make a great name for a comic book character, or at least a wrestler.)

Autumn Reeser is pretty hot.

It doesn’t hurt when you’re played by a really hot actress.
