Just a few predictions for the next season of lost. 1. Hurley will lose a lot of weight and hook up with Claire. [spoilers]

It’s been a little over a week since the season 3 finale of Lost. Like many of you guys, just when I thought Lost had… er… “lost” it, the last few episodes were phenomenal and the finale was absolutely mindblowing. It’s a shame we’re going to have to wait until February 2008 for the next season. By the way, there will be 3 more short seasons (only 16 episodes). I don’t know how I feel about that. I mean, it’s going to be 2010 before the whole thing ends. Isn’t ABC afraid of the Zentradi invasion?

So to fill up the time between now and then, I thought I’d type up a few of my predictions for the the next season of Lost. All of these are 100% guaranteed to come true since I have more secret insider sources than Chad Ford.

1. Walt will be back. This one’s pretty obvious. (Baby steps my friends, baby steps…) Since we saw in the finale that there will be flashfowards, I don’t think it’s any stretch of the imagination to think that Walt will be back. I also predict he will have major psychic powers.

2. Locke becomes the leaders of the Others. Another obvious one. I hope we get to see more of the connection between Jacob and the Others and learn why the Others don’t age.

3. People will die. Sorry. At this point you probably want to click out of this post and move on to another link because I’m not telling you anything that you don’t know. Well, I think the dentist guy will die, because he no longer serves no real use and they can’t do much with the guy (kind of like why Charlie was killed). I also think Jin will die, probably right after a MAJOR event. (Continue reading and you’ll see what I’m talking about.)

4. Kate is pregnant. What else do you think all of that hot unprotected sex with Sawyer is going to lead to? The island is known for making guys have supersperm.

5. Michael is the father of Sun’s baby. This is the one prediction that I haven’t seen anyone else make, but it’s probably one of the most plausible ones. As I posted in the Lost thread, Jin was near infertile before he got to the island. Sun got pregnant on the island. Sun and Michael did have some kind of relationship, and Sun has cheated on Jin before… so it’s not out of character for her to do so again.

I’m going to say the kid’s half-black. It’s going to be like that one scene in Life.
