I’ve been toying around with the look of popho and cleaning up a bunch of unnecessary code that’ll make this place run smoother. I know I’ve been neglecting this site the past year and haven’t done much to it, but hopefully things will change. Hopefully…

At any rate, I just threw up this old review to test out some coding. This particular post was written around 2004 I think. I’m actually kind of ashamed of this one because it had the potential to be somewhat decent.

Fin.K.L. - Fine Killing Liberty It’s been a while since FinKL has been back together. It’s also been a while since I’ve done a K Pop review.

At the height of my Korean pop music phase, I’d have to say that Fin.K.L. was one of my favorite groups. Their combinations of good looks… and… uh… well, that was all they had going for them… but yeah, their good looks made me love them long time. Wait, maybe it was just Yuri and Hyori and not so much FinklFattie and Lee Jin, but you guys know what I mean.

It’s been 3 years since they’ve been together, but Fin.K.L. (I am already tired of typing that out…) is back together. I think all of the members except for Lee Jin have had somewhat successful solo careers since then, but I couldn’t really tell you since I haven’t been keeping up with it all. For some reason or another, the record execs decided it was time for the fab four to get back together, and boy am I glad that they did.

Synopsis:

The “plot” of this video is basically some mod Korean guy in a turtleneck stalking the members of Finkl who are carrying around some kind of suitcase. We never get to find out what is in the suitcase, but it reminds me of the time I followed this really hot girl around campus for an hour. Some would say it was stalking, but I would like to think that it was more like affectionate admiration from a distance. It was also different because instead of trying to get her package, I was trying to offer up mine… if you catch my drift…

*wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Oh man. Yuri’s looking hot as ever. I know that everyone’s always all about Hyori and all, but I’d take Yuri over her any day of the week. I remember when she would be in pig tails and loose fitting clothes. Now she’s all sexified and prouncing in lingerie. My, how’ve you’ve grown.

FinklFattie. At least I think that’s FinklFattie. She really has changed over the years from being “slightly chubby” to “ZOMG! dynamite body”. Still she does nothing for me, since every time I think of Ju Hyun all I can see in my head is her pigging out on a bucket of fried chicken.

By the way, some of you might be wondering what the fuck “Fine Killing Liberty” means. I posted this in another article:

FinKL’s name was chosen by internet fans. Supposedly Fine Killing Liberty means that the four girls will destroy those who oppose the principles of liberty. This just goes to show how stupid the internet is.

I don’t know why they chose to title this song Fine Killing Liberty or why they do anything they do. In fact, I don’t know what this song is about or why I am even bother reviewing. I guess it might have something to do with ping pong balls and a jar of grease, but that makes no sense and it doesn’t have to since I am off my medication right now and I haven’t slept in 2 days.

Hyori Hyori Hyori. There’s no telling how many males have downloaded your pictures and videos and fapped to them. You might not look so hot in this picture here, but I couldn’t resist posting the O face. She still makes my dick go BOOM like dynamite.

Lee Jin just really looks odd with the skank make up and everything. It’s a shame too, since you know… I love girls in skank make up. She’s still the “invisible” member of Finkl. I heard that there was a rumor way back when where they were going to replace her with somone else, but then I remembered that I was the one who started that rumor.

HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THAT PHONE! It’s sad to say, but I marked out for that cellphone almost has much as I did for the girls. I just have this crazy cellphone fetish where I buy expensive ass cellphones with features that I’ll never use. It’s a sickness I tell you.

Like the Nokia 7610. I don’t even know what half of the stuff on the phone is for, but I obsessed over it for the longest time and bought it right when it came out. Any regular phone would have been fine for me since all I do is make phone calls and text… but I am a huge idiot and bought it. Recently I picked up one of those Sony w800 walkman phones. It’ll probably be another couple of weeks before I realize that I wasted my money on it.

Finkl is known for their really bad dancing, and in this video, they keep it to a minimum. Most of the dancing is done by Hyori, and she’s gotten pretty good. You can tell that she’s really been working on it and all during her solo career. Good for her.

Okay well the guy finally gets the suitcase and all he does is stare at it. What a huge faggot.

Music:The song is kind upbeat and fast. I can almost dance to it except that it’s not gay enough. Still, it’s not so bad.

Visuals: Bright colors and great art direction. I dig it, but I wish they would have explained what was going on a little bit more… but then again, when have I done a Korean pop music video review where I actually knew what was going on?

Fiyah: This video is ON FIYAH. Serious, the girls look really good and makes me hate life in general since no girl that hot has ever hooked up with me. Fuck you FinKL. I fucking hate you bitches for not giving up that sweet sweet ass.

Overall: You know, I’m really glad that Finkl is back together. It reminds me of the good old days where I would sit in my closet and obsess over videos in languages that I don’t understand. I temporarily have it up for download, so grab it while you can.
