Michael Jackson: You Are Not Alone
I’ve looked at a lot of disturbing music videos here on konton popHO. In the past, I have explored subjects that nobody else in their right minds would dare touch. I thought that it couldn’t get any worse than Aqua or New Kids on the Block. But I am here to say, yes my friends, it can get worse… much worse… The subject of today’s review is Michael Jackson’s You Are Not Alone, quite possibly one of the most disturbing videos ever created. Every copy of this atrocious affront to human kind should be found and burned. The director should have his flesh flayed from his skin and be fed to kittens. Michael Jackson should be… uh… well he’s fucked up enough already. We can leave him alone.

Dear
Hyori’s 10 Minutes was the last article I wrote before I shut down my old website, konton, and in many ways it was a fitting end. Though konton started out as a mish-mash pop culture site, for better or worse, it ended being known for Asian pop. Even though there were signs of it before, 10 Minutes was the final death knell for the golden age of Korean girl groups. SES had split. Baby VOX were pretty much over. Hyori’s star power couldn’t be contained in Fin.K.L. anymore. And there just weren’t any groups around with the charm, wit, and fiyah to replace the old stalwarts. Truly a sad time period… for me at least.
Aside from maybe “game over”, no two words make gamers wince as much as “licensed games”. They have all the potential to be great; recognizable characters, backstory, built in audience, etc. But when a developer acquires a license, they feel as if they can release any old shitpile of a game upon the unsuspecting audience and expect us to gobble it up. Case in point, RoboCop for the NES.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve done anything about Voltron. I had a whole bunch of old episodes laying around that I’ve been meaning to review, but for some reason or another, I just haven’t gotten around to it. Until today of course.
I’ve been toying around with the look of popho and cleaning up a bunch of unnecessary code that’ll make this place run smoother. I know I’ve been neglecting this site the past year and haven’t done much to it, but hopefully things will change. Hopefully…
