I wonder what BoA means by Sweet Impact?

Hello all. Once again I return from a week-long hiatus. Work has been extremely rough, I’ve been trying to play through Seiken Densetsu 3, and I’ve been going through all of my Arrested Development dvds… so I honestly haven’t any free time to write up posts that no one will read. That’s just how I roll.

At any rate, I’ve been sitting on the new BoA video for a while now (got it from asian junkie) and I thought I’d review it in attempts to generate more hits to generate more advertising revenue so I can fund my drinking. In case you guys didn’t realize, popho is just one big ploy to make money for me to buy as much Pabst Blue Ribbon as possible. I need all that Pabst so I can get drunk so I can crank out more posts, because my writing skills only come out after I’ve had a few.

It’s a vicious cycle.

I could make a joke about the title of BoA’s new video, but better men than I have done so already. Most of them fall along the lines of “I’d like to make sweet impact with her!” or “I’d sweetly impact dat ass!” or “My fist would make a sweet impact on the back of BoA’s head with a donkey punch!” Instead, I’ll focus on how short BoA’s legs are. I mean, look at them. How tall is she?

Quick google search says around 5′4″, which isn’t that short for an Asian girl. It must be the camera angle.

Sweet Impact is set in the distant future. We get to see BoA ride around in a Tron looking motorcycle before she stops at a weird building. BoA is carrying a computer disc or chip or whatever that allows her to enter the world of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal. Actually it’s a bar set in the roaring 20s, but whenever I see a setting from that era, my mind immediately jumps to Michael Jackson. (My mind actually jumps to Michael Jackson a lot more than I would like it to. ;_;)

Of course, BoA’s looking hot as usual. I prefer with a different hairstyle, but she’s cute no matter what. I don’t know much about the Asian music scene, despite bragging on the finklses forums that I am the Zhuge Liang of all Asian pop music, but it seems to be that BoA is primarily doing Japanese pop music these days. Can anyone confirm this? Bronx? Kensai? Mom?

But yeah, BoA’s dancing has come a long long way since when she was 13 years old. She’s strutting her stuff all over the place and even throws on one glove like Michael did. Oh BoA, when will you stop ripping off the King of Pop?

Other than that, not much else happens. I’m a fan of music videos with plotlines or stories, and Sweet Impact has neither, unless you count me wanting to fuck the shit of BoA a plotline. So much could have been have been done with the settings… I mean, it was set in the future and in the 20s. However, much like the current girl I am dating, it just ends up being one giant cocktease.
