Wait… what?! Some Korean music company decided to form a new all girl group using the Baby Vox monicker?

The other day when I was posting the old Baby Vox photoalbum I decided to do a little bit of research, i.e. google “baby vox”, just to see what the ladies where up to now a days. Imagine my surprise when I found out that there’s going to be an entirely new girl group using the Baby Vox monicker! Okay I wasn’t surprised… more amused that some Korean music exec thought that it would be a good idea to try to milk the good Baby Vox name as much as possible.

I mean, it’s not like Morning Musume who changes members more often than I change my underwear. MM at least retains members until I think the age of 14 when they are led out to pasture to “graduate” i.e. start their own idol websites. There is no real link between the old Baby Vox and this group except I think that I think that they’re on the same label.

Oh, and if you’re wondering, the “Re.V” portion of their name stands for “renaissance voices.” That’s right, if you fully wrote out their name, it would be:

Even if we weren’t to take account of the redundancy of the word voices, it is still quite possibly the dumbest name for a Korean pop act ever. EVER. And that’s a bold statement considering that we have seen High Five of Teenagers, Fine Killing Liberty, and Poonani Wagon in the past.

Let’s take a look at some of the new members of Baby Vox Re. V shall we?

First up is Kwon Ae Ri. K-yoot! I haven’t seen any of their videos or whatever, but I am assuming that she is the cute one. Well, they’re all pretty cute, but she’s the super cute one that acts like a little kid. Possibly the Kan Mi Youn of this group.

Hwang Yeon Kyeong seems like she could be the cool laid back one. I’m pulling all of this out of my ass as I type this by the way. Uhm… I like her ruffles?

From the above picture, Yang Eun Ji could be the cool sexy one…

But she looks really goofy and fun in this picture. I guess time will tell what her “role” shall be.

Next up we have Myeong Sa Rang, who will step into Kim EZ’s role as the main rapper. Already we can she that she shares a lot in common with Miss EZ:

OH YEAH! It’s just a shame I find her the least attractive of the new girls. Oh well, it’s not like the opinion of a guy who runs a crappy blog really matters right? I mean, she’s probably ten times hotter than any girl I’ll ever hook up with.

Last, but definitely not least, there’s Ahn Jin Kyeong, who is on lead vocals duty. I think that she’s absolutely hot as hell and I want to do things to her involving a bucket of chicken, a rubber band ball, and a magnifying glass. Yeah, I went there. Out of all of the new girls I think she has the most “oompf.”

I also like her Vanessa-esque outfit. HOT.

Alright well I guess that’s all for now. I was just playing on youtube and there’s actually quite a few videos of them. Maybe I should have written this post up after I watched a couple of them… but then again, this post wouldn’t have been as fun if I actually had any clue of what I am talking about.
